Do This To Avoid Satan's Temptation

The devil was the first creature to reject Allah's command to prostrate in front of Prophet Adam. Because, the devil considers himself to have a higher position than the Prophet Adam.
As a result of his arrogance, the devil was expelled from Heaven. Since then he has held a grudge against Adam and promised to always tempt and plunge mankind until the Day of Judgment.
As Muslim believers, of course we want to stay on the straight path and avoid the temptations of the devil or the devil. As for the reason why demons or demons were created from fire. It shows that humans created from the ground have a higher position than demons or demons.
Then, what efforts can be made to thwart the evil intentions of the devil towards humans? Reporting from Ghostpedia, here are the steps to avoid the temptation of the devil.

Do more remembrance

Increasing dhikr to Allah SWT can make the devil thin. Prophet Muhammad SAW once said;
Indeed, the believer thins his devil, just as one of you thins his camel on the way.
The analogy is, when a wild animal has been drained, at that moment it will be easy to manage and obey its master. Because, he can only depend on his employer to meet his intake. The same is true for demons. If a Muslim can control the devil by not fulfilling his desires, then the devil will become thin.

Stay away from places of immorality and wrong people

The environment will affect the character of a person. Generally, when someone socializes in a good environment, then he will have good attitudes and needs, and vice versa.
Do not try to get closer to places that are immoral and people who like to disobey Allah's commands. Indeed it will make it easier for Satan to mislead people. The Messenger of Allah once stated;
Whoever is circling around a forbidden place, it is very likely that he will fall into it.

Must be aware of the threat of Satan's temptation

Muslims must always remind themselves that the presence of Satan on this earth is to tempt and plunge humans into the valley of eternal humiliation and disaster. Don't let anyone think that the devil has come to take advantage of us. In surah al-Hashr verse 16 Allah SWT explains;
When he says to man: 'You disbelieve', then when the man disbelieves, he says: 'Indeed I am free from you'.

Know the devil is looking for friends

Behind his tenacity to plunge people into a misguided path, Satan is also a coward. The more people who fall into his temptations, the more satisfied Satan will be. Because, the hell of water is very wide and Satan wants friends to join in filling it. This is explained in the letter al-A'raf verses 16-17 which reads;
The devil replied: 'Because You have punished me astray, I will really (obstruct) them from Your straight path'. the sound of the letter al-A'raf verse 16.
Then, surely I will come at them from the front, from behind, from their right, and from their left. And you will not find most of them grateful. the sound of the letter al-A'raf verse 17.

Narrow the movement of the devil with fasting

Lastly, do fasting. Because, when we hold back hunger, it can make us always remember Allah SWT. Rasulullah SAW as follows;
Satan runs in the blood stream of Adam's descendants. So narrow the space for movement by holding back hunger (fasting).
